Rustic Yard Decorating with Log Cabin Mailboxes
There are all sorts of ways to decorate the front yard to show off some of your personality, not the least of which is by altering the mailbox. You can get a mailbox cover to dress up your existing postal receptacle, or you can go all the way and replace your box with something new.
If the rustic look charms you, you might get a kick out of this log cabin mailbox from the Cedar Store:
"Our Log Shack Mailbox is the picture of serene, sylvan living. Whether your address is rural or suburban, this quaint backwoods cabin will add an idyllic, folksy appeal to your home. From its inviting porch, to its shingled roof, this little shanty is made from treated wood, to withstand the elements for years to come."
If logs aren't quite your thing, the company also features trains, lighthouses, barns, windmills, and other fun structures, all dressed up as post-office approved mailboxes. Some even feature nooks for newspaper delivery.
The "Log Shack" will run you $169.
