Outdoor Ceiling Fans Keep Patios Cool
A covered patio keeps the sun off you when you're enjoying your backyard, but on hot days the heat can still be stiffing. Inside, you can turn on the air conditioning, but outside is another matter. To encourage a little air flow, you might consider a couple of outdoor ceiling fans.
These fans are constructed to withstand vacillations in temperature and humidity throughout the year. There are all sorts of styles to choose from, from Asian to contemporary to tropical, and you can even find units with remote controls, so you don't have to get off the lounge chair to turn the blades on and off.
