I was walking the dog around the neighborhood this morning, and I noticed a house with large picture windows that looked quite handsome, except for one thing: the homeowners had clearly picked some off-the-shelf curtains, that really didn't work with the unique shape of the window. Even from the sidewalk this was apparent, and detracted a bit from the curb appeal of the home. They really should have had something custom made that would accent the picture windows.
