Terrarium Tables--the True "Green" Furniture
It's not uncommon to see plants in tables; it's not every day you see plants in tables.
If that sounds like a nifty idea to you, perhaps a terrarium table is in your future. (For those who can't remember exactly what a terrarium is, here's a handy definition from off the web: "a vivarium in which selected living plants are kept and observed." Yes, it can also refer to reptile cages, but I really wouldn't want anything except plants in my coffee table.)
The terrarium table shown here is an example of one of the pieces Ron Gladkowski has done. He says, "Terrarium tables can be made in almost any size, or shape, the design is only limited by ones imagination. The choice of colors is extensive enough to fit any decor, and sample glass colors are available for you to choose from."
This table features a wire filigree ornamentation on the inside of each side. The cost is $450, and plants aren't included, so you'll have to go out and get those yourself.
