Triple Bowl Kitchen Sink, Bigger *Is* Better

triple-bowl-stainless-steel-kitchen-sink.jpgIf your double-bowl (or worse single bowl) kitchen sink is always full of dishes or just doesn't offer the food preparation space you need, then it may be time to go bigger.

Yes, it's possible to get a triple bowl sink, and you don't even have to get one custom built. Though not nearly as popular as the double bowl versions, there are a few models out there to pick from.

The Franke RGX-170 Regatta is an undermount stainless steel sink with plenty of room for preparing food and washing dishes (or letting them sit until the kids remember to do their chores). It does require a 48" base cabinet, so make sure you've got the room before ordering this big boy.

Bigger sinks are also harder to install due to weight. Many fabricators do not like to undermount triple bowl sinks.
