A Baseboard Heater Cover Is an Easy Home Improvement
Out of all the cool home improvement ideas, furniture trends, and home and garden products I've blogged about over the years, one of the most popular posts on here (most visited anyway) is one on, of all things, baseboard heater covers.
It just goes to show how many people have ugly old baseboard heaters that they're eager to hide. Well, here's another company that has a heater cover selection you can look over: Overboards. You might even find something that matches the trim in your house. Instructions on the company's site show how easy it is to place these over your existing heaters and improve the look of your rooms without having to tear anything out.
Although, I recently replaced the baseboard heaters altogether in my condo (they were thirty years old and rather... hideous), and it was fairly inexpensive (at least when compared to things like granite countertops and new appliances) and a task that could be accomplished in an afternoon. You just need to be willing to turn off the electricity for a bit and unplug some wires.
Buuut, if you're looking to save time and money, the baseboard heater cover improvement is an even easier one.
