Lava Flower Side Table, Yup It's Made from Lava
Volcanic lava just doesn't get incorporated into the home and garden scene often enough, does it?
No, I'm not talking about the searing, molten, red flowing stuff, but rather the stuff that seared and flowed long ago and has since turned into rock. Believe it or not, you can make furniture from lava rock, as this "Lava Flower" side table attests.
This exotic piece is made from solid Icelandic lava and "captures in a unique way Icelandic fairytales." Ok, at first glance I took it for a fancy cinder block, but upon closer inspection I can see the fairy tale element.
It might be a challenge, however, to find a nice lava couch to go with the table.
