Glass Bricks Have Many Applications Around the Home

Glass bricks or blocks are popular in bathroom windows and shower surrounds, since they are an excellent way to allow light into a room while still retaining privacy. Their uses don't end in the bathroom however. Glass bricks can go anywhere you'd like indoors or outdoors.

Here, square blocks have been incorporated into a kitchen backsplash. Glass bricks can also be used in outdoor landscaping (they're a unique way to create planters or terraces using materials other than stone or brick). They can also be used to create walls dividers in rooms where you want light to get through. There's really no limit to what you can do with glass elements when it comes to home design.
