Pull-out Ironing Board Saves Space in the Laundry Room
I know, I know, laundry room home improvements aren't exactly the most exciting stuff (I've yet to see one featured on HGTV), but this addition could be handy if you're pressed for space (and actually iron your own clothes instead of foisting the job off on the dry cleaner... not that I'd know anything about that).
Oh, sure, you can get one of those ironing boards that flips up against the wall or into a cabinet, but the Asko "Hidden Helper" actually comes integrated into the washer, so it's not adding any clutter to the room. (Other options are a pull-out sorting shelf or an under-washer pedestal drawer for storing detergents and the like.)
With it stationed that close to the dryer, maybe I'd even remember to get the ironing out of the way as the clothes are done instead of days later. You never know.
