True Luxury Is... a Concrete Shower?
When you think of luxury, you might not think of concrete as the material to inspire it. But this custom-made concrete shower enclosure is pretty cool. As you can see on the shower wall, you can do all sorts of designs with concrete, so it's just as versatile as tile in that aspect, and it can be shaped ways that would be hard to manage with other materials.
This concrete shower enclosure is part of a whole bathroom that was done almost entirely in concrete (sink, countertops, bath, and even the walls are colored in a concrete-esque manner) by Grotto Designs.
I don't know about you, but I love shower enclosures you just walk behind to do your washing. That means no doors, hinges, etc. to get goobered and grimed with dirt and mildew. This entire bathroom looks like it'd be a snap to clean (there are more pictures on the designer's site), so if maintenance-free living is your style, concrete may just equal luxury.

One of the best use of creativity and engineering I have seen to date. This is the type of out of the box thinking that needs to be more main stream. Truely a beautiful product. Can't wait to get in on my home.
