Free-standing Glass Radiator with a Fireplace Look
Room or area heating can be more energy efficient than heating the whole home with central air, especially if you are just hanging out in one part of the house. Of course, if you don't have a thermostat in every room, it's hard to specify just one duct to turn on, so you need some sort of heater. You wouldn't want anything big and clunky, right? Not when there are modern alternatives...
For example, check out the Supratherm glass radiator from Sprinz. The heater has a super thin glass panel that supports the latest heating technology, so it's just as powerful as traditional radiators, but it sure looks cooler.
I love the fireplace-inspired image shown on this heater, but there are different designs available, and you can choose a size that's perfect for your room. The glass radiators can also come in wall-mounted versions.
