Panasonic Wireless Network Camera Keeps an Eye on Your Pets
A security camera for watching your pets? Whose crazy idea is that?
Well, that's how the Panasonic Wireless 802.11 b/g Network Camera and Pet Cam is promoting itself on Amazon. It's a big fancy "Pet Cam." Now you can make sure Fido really is lounging on the couch all day while you're at work, rather than opening the fridge and making himself a snack.
I'm not sure what you'd actually do if you checked in on Fido from work and found him tearing up the house. I suppose if you have him trained to answer the phone, you can call and yell at him to knock it off...
To be fair, I'm sure you can use the camera for other purposes, too, but for the overprotective pet owner, here's your chance to keep your mischievous pets under video surveillance.

I think the nanny cams and pet cams are kind of stupid. They wouldn't do anything if a real burglar broke in. They'd just throw a shirt over the camera and rip off everything in your house. Internet security cameras are really just toys to play with not anything practical.

Well the camera might get a picture of the burglar before he stole all your stuff. :P
