Rain Barrels Save Water
It's nice to keep your yard lush and green even during the hot months of summer, but it sure does take a lot of water. One way to be less of a draw on the environment (and pay less for water usage) is to collect free rain water to use for your landscaping and gardening needs. Rain barrels such as this one make the task easy.
Most of them come with spigots and shut off valves for hose hook up and screens for keeping out insects and debris. They're available in different colors and styles, so you can find something that won't be an eye sore in your yard. You can also get link kits that allow you to hook multiple rain barrels up to each other, so you don't have to take your hose from barrel to barrel to meet your water needs.
Prices start around $150.
