Golf Course for the Backyard
If you're a golf nut, you've probably fantasized about being able to step outside your house and play a few rounds. Unless you live on a golf course, this probably isn't going to happen, but perhaps you could satisfy the urge by putting a few just off the back deck.
Green Links, Inc. specializes in synthetic golf putting greens and lawn turf. They have a gallery of pictures on their site, showing residential installations they've done. The nice thing about the synthetic stuff is it always looks good and you don't have to mow anything. Of course, if you're determined to have a lawn to take care of, you can always leave the front yard unscathed...
