Indoor Outdoor Bamboo Rugs Are Eco-friendly
Environmentally friendly bamboo is appearing in all sorts of products for the home these days. We've written about the fast-growing renewable material showing up in bamboo sheets, bamboo countertops, and increasingly popular bamboo flooring. You can also get rugs made from the material.
This indoor/outdoor "Tropicana" bamboo rug is made from "the finest bamboo shoots, harvested from sustainable forests in the Anji Mountains of China." It measures 5 x 8 feet and is cleanable with a damp cloth or mop. The rug is available for $125 from Eco House Wares, a company with all sorts of green living products for the home and garden.
