Bamboo Edging Protects Your Landscaping
Landscaping can turn a yard from wild and unruly to structured and beautiful, but if you have kids or dogs, it can be hard to protect your plantings. Or maybe you'd just like to set off a few shrubs, trees, or flower beds that are the pride of your lawn. This bamboo edging is an eco-friendly way to do it (since bamboo is a grass that grows to maturity in just a few years, it's considered an easily renewable resource).
Available from Master Garden Products, this self-standing bamboo edging serves to protect your plantings by creating tangible boundaries. It also accents what's on display. You can choose the size of the poles you want to use with heights starting at 2.5 inches and widths averaging 1.5-2.0 inches (bigger poles can hold back beds). The bamboo is strung together by wire that isn't visible once installed. You can get poles that are even all the way across on the top or uneven ones that offer a crenellated pattern.
