Pivoting Towel Hook for Small Bathrooms
If you're remodeling a small bathroom (and there's no way to make it any bigger), one way you can save a little space is by adding one or more pivoting towel hooks to the walls. When pulled out, they work as normal towel holders do, but when not in use, they swing back to lay parallel to the wall. This gives you a little more elbow room when maneuvering in a tight space (no getting pronged by the towel holders). Designed by Motiv, the towel hook is available in satin nickel or polished chrome, and you can also get a version with three nested hooks that can hold three towels, wash clothes, robes, etc. when in use. This is also a space saver. Prices start around $70 per hook.
