Patio Umbrella Stand Heater

The first I heard (or rather felt) of patio umbrella stand heaters was at a local wine cafe in Woodinville, WA (a land of frequent rains and temperate wewather) where patrons were sipping from their glasses outside on the patio even though it was late evening and in the 50s. When I walked past on the way to the entrance, I realized why. Their umbrellas (or rather heaters doubling as umbrella stands under the table) were giving off a cozy warmth.

Outdoor living is big, but in cooler climates the weather can limit the number of months it's a viable option. Outdoor Leisure's patio umbrella stand heater can add to your outdoor entertaining hours. The heater increases the surrounding temperature by 10 to 15 degrees and warms up your feet and lower body. You can use the heater with or without the umbrella. You do need a power outlet to plug it into (the heater comes with a 6 foot power cord), so make sure you've got a spot nearby before thinking of purchasing. MSRP is $99.
