How to Add Interest to the Dining Area

If you’re not careful the dining room can look pretty dull. While table and chair sets are easier since they match, mixing up a table and different chairs can be more interesting. It also helps when you use color in the dining area. Simply because the dining room is supposed to be more sophisticated and grand, it doesn’t mean you can’t use bold colors you love.

One HomeGoods customer posted a picture of her dining room, and it has several elements that you can take and personalize. First, she has a chosen to accent the room with orange. There are orange candles and pillows, and the magnolia picture ties in the creams and oranges.

Second, she has cream parsons chairs around the wooden table instead of traditional wooden ones. These chairs are more inviting, but they have a formal fabric and color.

The real plants and additional centerpiece accessories pull the look together.
