Would You Pay $33,000 for a Mattress?
E. S. Kluft & Co., came out with a $33,000 hand-tufted, king-size Palais Royale mattress and box spring in 2008. This mattress exudes luxury, of course from the price, but also in it’s design. About 100 of these have been sold since it’s debut…are you going to be one of the few?
In comparison to other mattresses, the Kluft Palais Royale has over 2,000 coils and 10 pounds of various materials to create a cozy and comfortable sleeping experience. It’s made from wool, cashmere, mohair and silk. In addition, there is natural latex in the Biofoam layers. It’s estimated life expectancy is 7 to 10 years, which isn’t much different than the cheaper mattresses out on the market.
Another option is Kluft’s Sublime model, which is priced at $44,000. It’s similar to the Palais Royale, but it has horsehair in it. While these mattresses are luxurious, they’re definitely not made for vegans or individuals with allergies.

I will never spend such a huge amount on mattress if i am getting best of the best mattress in $500.
