Vacuum Food Preserving Storage Chamber Keeps Fruits & Veggies Fresh Longer
If you’re tired of your fruits and vegetables going bad before the family gets to them, you might pick up a “Food Preserving Storage Chamber” to buy yourself a couple extra days of freshness.
The kitchen gadget creates a vacuum every time you close the lid, inhibiting microorganism growth and slowing the oxidation of fruits, veggies, and bread (yup, you can use it as a fancy bread box, too). This is supposed to keep foods fresh, extending the shelf life up to three weeks. In addition to creating a vacuum, the food preservation device maintains a constant 16 mbar pressure (the optimal pressure for preserving food stuffs) and reduces air moisture (to eliminate mold growth).
The gadget can run on AC or 4 D batteries. Just press the button to release the lid when you want your fresh munchies.
