Soap Dispenser with a Brain

MarinaHanes ~ 1 December 2009

The kitchen can become a messy place. When your chopping up vegetables for dinner and rolling your meatballs, your hands become hardly recognizable. Nothing is worse than tracking the slop from your hands to the rest of your kitchen.

The simplehuman Sensor Soap Pump prevents you from getting gunk and goo all over your soap dispenser. This pump automatically senses when you’re hand is waiting underneath it. There is even a dial that allows you to adjust how much soap you get, so you can make your soap last longer. Also, the wide opening makes it easier to refill it, and you can look on the clear chamber in the front and check to see how much soap you have left.

This model comes in brushed-nickel, or you can find the black and silver model at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It requires four AA batteries to operate.
