Vertical Living Wall

Plants are an excellent addition to your home, because they provide life, color and air filtration. However, those large potted plants take up quite a bit of space, which isn’t convenient if you live in a smaller home or apartment. Instead of taking up your horizontal space, use up the vertical space in your home.

The Vertical Living Wall designed by Giulio Sbarigia serves as a natural air cleaners, because you can have plants growing on your wall. The LED light within the device provides mood lighting, so you can enjoy your indoor garden. You can plant the following in it: nephrolepsis, scheffiera, vaudosie, spatifillo, edera and others.

This gadget’s dimensions are 180 cm x 10 cm x 80 cm. The retractable wheels enable you to effortlessly move the wall, and there is a jack within the wall, which distributes the water evenly. Now you can utilize your green thumb even if you don’t have space in your backyard for landscaping.

Interesting product.. but apparently it’s not for sale. It’s a cool idea though. I wonder what kind of growing medium they used.. just soil?
