Lilacs are charming, colorful and aromatic, which make them the perfect flowers for a centerpiece. Although lilacs are larger plants than say toulips, you can still just put one or two in a sauce jar and create a mood of elegance. However, when you’re having dinner guests, you want a little more wow.

What you will need is a serving bowl and a tall vase. If these items are white, this will really help the flowers pop. First, line the serving bowl with plastic wrap and place floral adhesive to the underside of the vase. This will all you to secure the vase onto the center of the bowl. Now you can create a two-tier centerpiece. Arrange soaked floral foam inside the serving bowl so that you can insert the lilac cuttings. Then you can simply add water and lilacs to the vase.
