Long-term Benefits of a Wooden Toy Box

7 September 2009

If you’re having your first baby, odds are that you will have quite a bit of toys. A large, solid wood box to store these items in is actually a functional piece that can have long-term uses even when your baby grows up.

Your baby will use this box well into toddlerhood, but when your baby no longer has a use for it, you can convert it into something else. For instance, you can keep it at the end of your child’s bed and store jeans or blankets. Or you can put it in the mudroom as a bench but also keep winter accessories in it. Another option is to use it for file storage. This is an excellent way to store banker boxes full of files that you can’t throw away yet.

This natural wood finish toy box is decorative and made with birch veneers. Since it has a simple design, it could go anywhere.
