Money Saving Bathroom Cleaning Tips

You don’t always have to buy those expensive cleaning products to get the job done in the bathroom. If you have a clogged drain or mold growing, invest in simple ingredients first.

Hair, dirt and grime can clog up your shower drain multiple times throughout the year. Instead of purchasing name brand drain cleaners, create a solution of vinegar and baking soda. This solution can help clear out the drain without the use of harsh chemicals. You can even scrub your tub with these ingredients too.

It doesn’t take long for mildew to form into mold. When this happens, the grout between your tiles can be a breeding ground. Before these spores get into your lungs, combine equal parts of bleach and water into a spray bottle. Then you can spray any mold away, kill germs and prevent more mold from forming.

Vinegar, baking soda and bleach are inexpensive products that can keep your bathroom germ free and sparkling clean.
