Eco-friendly & Organized Closets
Do you have an organized and eco-friendly clothing closet? If you don’t, keep in mind that you never know who will see the insides of your closets and drawers, so it’s important to keep them tidy.
The hardest part is getting your closet organized. It’s best to sort piles of clothes (those you want and those you don’t want). With all of the items you no longer want, either sell them at a secondhand store or give them to Goodwill.
After you have all of the items together that you’re keeping, do some green DIY installations. For example, a clothing bar is essential for delicate items that you don’t want to shrink. Instead of using your dryer, hang the clothes on the bar to dry.
So that your closet fits your items better, install adjustable shelves made from composite wood paneling. This can keep purses, shoes and other smaller items together and in a specific spot.

If you really want to be environmentally friendly and frugal you should invest in a clothes drying rack and dry all your laundry with air and sunshine if you have the abilitty to take your rack outside. It is said the in the U.S. 8-12% of household energy bills go to drying our laundry. AND to top it off our clothing breakdown and wear much faster from all the heat. Dryers also cause static which require us to use dryer sheets and other things that are full of chemicals and nasty things.
