Textured Glass Stairs
So, you’re tired of plain old wooden or carpeted stairs, and you want to do something unique for your house, loft, condo, etc.
How about glass?
These textured glass stairs were installed in a private residence by Joel Berman Glass Studios Ltd.
Unlike more solid treads, the glass allows light to filter through between the floors, and it also creates a feeling of openness. The stairs become an artistic element rather than just a way to get from one level to the next. Also… glass is just cool.
These textured stairs are made from three layers of glass laminated together, so they’re going to be plenty sturdy enough for every day use.
Other residential applications for textured glass include shower enclosures, countertops, and room dividers to name a few.
