Decorative Metal Drains for Your Bathroom Sink
If the drain in your bathroom sink looks like mine (round, metal, boring), then it might be fun to look at some of the more decorative options out there.
Linkasink has a whole line of decorative sink drains, using metal, precious stones, and even shells to bring us something out of the ordinary. I like the different designs they’ve put together just using metal (though I did wonder how some of the designs with holes in them are supposed to keep the water in your sink if you’re trying to fill the basin).
They look cool though and that makes me want one. Of course, the Linkasink drains run about $150 (which is probably as much as my sink is worth), so you’ve got to have some money to spend in your bathroom beautification budget.

You have some interesting concepts. I have been designing a new kitchen and bathrooms for us for some time now and searching the Internet for ideas. I do have a leg up on most, though, because I’m a cabinetmaker, so I can do my own cabinetry, which is the heart of a bathroom. One of the things I have been finding, though, is that there are just a ton of ideas out there. I have been working on this for some time and trying to share my ideas with others. I have hopes of glorious bathrooms for us. But we’ll just have to see how it turns out.
