Glass Filler Faucet for Home Bar Use

Lindsay ~ 6 March 2009

Lots of folks buy refrigerators with automatic ice and cold water dispensers, but if you’re installing–or updating–a home bar down in the entertainment room, you probably don’t need a full-sized refrigerator/freezer unit down there. You can still have the convenience of being able to quickly fill a glass from a dedicated stream of filtered water. Just install a glass filler faucet.

Commonly used in bar and restaurant settings, there’s no reason a glass filler faucet can’t be part of your home bar–or even your kitchen-too.

They’re not very expensive (prices start around $80), and you can get wall- or deck-mounted versions, so your faucet will fit into whatever space you’re planning.

The deck-mounted, push-back glass filler faucet shown below is from Fresh Water Systems.
