Looking for more eco-friendly kitchen countertop options? Well, here’s Urban Slab.
The California-based company makes its concrete and recycled glass countertops by hand. The product consists of 100% recycled glass (85% post-consumer glass containers commonly sent to landfill, 15% post industrial) mixed with a cement matrix for strength and durability.
The countertops are supposed to resist fading, scratches, and stains, and they are available in custom sizes, colors, and finishes. Urban Slabs fabricate like granite, are lighter weight, and have an attractive and unique appearance.
