Ceramic Art Tile Offers Many Fireplace Surround Options

Lindsay ~ 6 February 2009

Fireplaces are focal points (at least they are when we don’t hide them behind couches and chairs, or dwarf them with 60″ television sets), and they are an opportunity to set the style for the whole room.

Often the rest of your furnishings and decor will take their cues from this center attraction.  Thus it makes sense to create a surround you really like.

If you’d like to update your fireplace surround, there’s no need to stick to brick and stone.

Ceramic art tiles offer a lot of options when it comes to color, tile size, and design. Everything from rustic to modern to all points in between can be achieved with ceramic tiles.

The example shown here is Moorish field tile, from Meredith Art Tile.
