Boot Brush with Handle Makes Scraping Mud Easier

Lindsay ~ 7 December 2008

Up here in the Pacific Northwest, we’re smack in the middle of our muddy season (it runs from August to July), so a boot brush can be a handy tool. (Boot brushes also helpful for you snow-laden folks who are tired of bringing the white stuff inside with your shoes.)

This boot brush is a little different from most models, in that it has a waist-height handle for you to grab onto for better leverage. And that handle is textured to simulate a real tree branch.

The boot brush itself is a solid 10 pounds, so no need to worry about someone kicking it off the porch. It’s decorative as well as functional too. Just in case the oak-branch handle wasn’t enough, “The natural coconut-palm bristles are surrounded by an acorn and oak leaf frieze.”

$60 from the Gardeners’ Supply Company:

That “Garage Claw” is a fabulous idea to hang your bikes and to have more space available.
