When I relax and take a load off after a long, hard day of blogging (what, you thought I actually did something useful for a living?), I like to sit on something comfortable. Something like… stainless steel.

Okay, you might not think of metal as particularly comfortable, but somebody did, because there’s a chair made from the stuff.

The Osian Batyka-Williams “Tube Chair” is made from stainless steel tubes sourced from reclamation yards 5 miles from the artist’s London Bridge studio.

I’m not sure this would fit in my living room along with my leather dog-hair adorned furniture, but I imagine it would look great alongside some modern or industrial pieces.
