Floor Safe Provides True Security for Your Valuables
If you’re selling stocks left and right to buy up gold or silver, you’ll need someplace to put it. Some people opt for a safe deposit box at the bank, but others want to keep their valuables close at hand.
If you want to keep your shiny metal bars underneath your bed, you’d best make sure it’s not easy for thieves to find them. You might want to pick up a safe for your home (even if you’re not hoarding precious metals, it can be a good idea to keep passports and important documents in a fireproof safe).
Now, a safe that can be moved about isn’t all that secure, even if it’s pretty heavy. A burglar might not be able to break your code or pick the key lock, but a team of thieves can always pick it up and just take it with them to open at their leisure.
If you’re going to get a safe, an in-wall or (even better) in-floor safe makes a good choice. These units get mounted into the wall or floor itself, making it unlikely a burglar is going to get in. Floor safes can even be sunk into the bottom floor with concrete.
While, given enough time, a professional can get into any safe, most burglars don’t have unlimited time in your house. They want to get in and out without getting caught, so a floor safe or a wall safe will be your best deterrent.
Of course, installing a floor safe isn’t a piece of cake (got your jackhammer handy?), but you can always get a professional to come in and do the job for you.
