Pull-down Shelving for Kitchen Cabinets
If you have kitchen cabinets with shelves that are too high to be useful for some family members, you can make that storage space more accessible by adding pull-down shelves.
Simply fill them with glasses, dishes, etc., just as you would with regular shelves, and when you’re ready to remove an item, grab the handle to pull the shelves down to your level. Push them back up again when you’re done.
You can get shelving systems for all sizes of wall cabinets, and when the doors are closed, you won’t be able to tell the insides have been altered.
Costs for pull-down shelves run $200-$300, and the units are usually of sturdy metal construction.
You can also get pull-down spice racks. There’s no reason you should have storage areas in your kitchen that are useless to you just because you aren’t basketball player tall!

Who manufactures some of these pull-down shelves and where can I purchase them?
