Coil Hose Holder Doubles as Planter

Lindsay ~ 12 September 2008

If you’re the kind of person who likes to keep the garden hose close at hand but doesn’t actually want to look at it (hey, even colored hoses aren’t all that attractive), then perhaps a coil hose holder that can go incognito has a planter might appeal to your sensibilities.

While this hose holder can’t grow a plant and hold a hose at the same time, it can be used for either purpose. The pot is made from a poly-foam material that looks like real clay but is shaped for ideal drainage. A side-opening lets you keep the hose attached to the spigot if you wish, or just stick in the plug if you want to fill the pot with soil and use it as a planter for the season.

The coil hose holder cum planter is available from Yardiac in terra cotta, black granite, and sand styles for about $50:
