Coffee Tables with Storage Can Be Smart Space Saver
If you’d like more seating or more storage space in your living room, but the area already seems a bit cramped, then you may want to get furnishings that do double duty.
For instance, a coffee table can have shelves, drawers, or baskets integrated into the space below the tabletop. You can even get chests or trunks that are designed to be used as coffee tables but, when you lift the lid, offer a great expanse of space for storing extra pillows, slip covers, or other living room pieces you don’t need out all year round.
If storage for items isn’t a big concern, but you like to entertain and you’ve always wanted extra seating, you can also get tables that have ottomans inside. These can be tucked away when they’re not in use and pulled out to seat two or four guests when you’ve got company over.
So, if you’re shopping for new furniture anyway, consider a coffee table that broadens your storage options instead of just giving you a place to set the beer and the remote.
