For many people, a simple barbecue grill from the local home and garden store is just fine for their grilling needs. Other people feel the need to purchase something… unique.
This metal emu barbecue grill is definitely unique. Just lift up the feathered torso to find the grilling surface.
The artist, Bill Sorich, specializes in working with metal to create sculptures, gates, railings, furniture, and–yes–barbecues.
The emu bbq is one of several animal-themed units you can find on his site. Others include an armadillo, a turtle, and flamingos.
