Flat Screen TV Entertainment Center with Swivel Option

13 July 2008

There are tons of options out there when it comes to entertainment centers, and plenty of them are designed for flat screen plasma or LCD tvs. While many folks choose to mount flat screen televisions on the wall, that often leaves you wondering what to do with the cable box, dvd player, TiVo, playstation, etc. So an entertainment center that sits on the floor may be a better choice for some.

Dune Living’s “Director” (available in two widths) can be mounted against the wall or float free in the room, so you can use the swivel option. Rather than just turning the tv, the swivel lets you rotate the whole unit (hey, it’s no good if you can see the screen but can’t get the right angle for the remote control for the cable box to work).

The built-in tinted glass shelves hide your cables, and when you spin that part around, it also reveals extra storage for DVDs, CDs, games, etc.
