Sliding Bamboo Closet Doors
Lindsay ~ 17 June 2008
Even if your bedroom doesn’t allow you the space for walk-in closets, you can still have an envy-inspiring clothes storage area by dressing up the doors. Instead of the usual hollow-core wooden doors, consider more exotic materials, such as bamboo.
These sliding bamboo closet doors from Moso Bamboo add interest to what would otherwise be a pretty plain wall.
They’re made using the company’s “Panda” style rolls:
“The MOSO ‘Panda’ consists of bamboo strips which are interconnected by tape on the backside. On the backside is a fabric backing. The bamboo strips have a 2mm thickness and can be supplied in a 3.5, 7 or 17mm width (standard = 17mm). The material is supplied on rolls which have a standard width of 204cm.”
