We bought our (orange) Eglu in June 2007 as part of our entering into the world of urban chickens, and it's been a delightful adventure so far with entertaining hens and delicious fresh eggs. I've chronicled our adventures having two Barred Plymouth Rock hens in our Bay Area backyard over at http://www.UrbanChickens.net, so you can "test the waters" before getting your own Eglu and chickens. If you've ever had a pet of any kind, you'll find chickens are the easiest animals to care for.
