Deadbolt Locks Go Square

20 May 2008

It’s a good idea to replace your locks when you move into a new home, since you don’t really have any idea of how many copies of the lock there might be out there unless you purchased new construction.

When you pick a deadbolt lock, security is of course of paramount importance, but you might as well get an attractive design too! I kind of dig the square locks here, mostly because I haven’t seen these on any doors in my neighborhood (not that I spend a lot of time scoping people’s doors, but ya know).

The Studio deadbolt lock features “a modern look in the satin nickel finish, and yet creates a Craftsman feel in our oil-rubbed bronze highlighted finish.” But I just like them because they’re square.
