Outdoor Rocking Chair with a Modern Bent

If you think all rocking chairs are made from wood and designed to appeal to old grannies with their nineteen cats, then it’s time to bust that stereotype. Check out this simple (and definitely non-wooden) outdoor rocking chair from UK’s Post Modern Designs.

The Voido Matt (no, I don’t know what that means) from Magis is made from rotomoulded polyethylene (not quite sure what rotomoulding is either, but hey, I just find the things and point them out–it’s up to you if you want to research further).

The grannies of yesteryear might turn their noses up at this outdoor rocker, but I wouldn’t mind giving it a spin.
