Rotational Ceiling Fan Makes Cooling off Fun

5 March 2008

A ceiling fan can keep a room cool without the need for air conditioning, or at the very least, it can allow you to spend less money on air conditioning, since when air is moving it feels cooler. And you might as well have a fan that looks, as well as feels, cool.

The Brisa 2000 from the Matthews Fan Company is a “rotational” fan. Now, you’re probably thinking that all fans rotate–or at least have blades that do–but this one is a little different in that it looks a bit like someone picked up a desk fan and replaced the blades with it. A ball on the opposite side acts as a counterbalance. Visitors will definitely comment on the uniqueness of your cooling system.

You can get the Brisa in brushed nickel, chrome, or polished copper from Farreys.
