Costs of Natural Stone Kitchen Sinks
If you’re remodeling the kitchen, the sink is one thing you’re probably going to want to change out, especially if you’re doing cabinets and countertops. Now you might automatically think stainless steel, and that’s a pretty safe bet for sinks, but it’s by no means your only option. Natural stone sinks are beautiful and can make wonderful focal points in the kitchen.
Costs vary depending on the type of stone you choose and whether you opt for a single or double sink. Here’s an example of what you can expect to pay for some of the more popular stone materials:
Soapstone – $600 to $1,200 (more if you add on hand-carved decoration)
Granite – $1,000 to $2,000
Green terrazzo or black Nero Tanzania – $3,600
Marble – $4,460
