Vintage Toilet Flusher
5 February 2008
I don’t mean to get personal, but how’s your toilet flusher? You know–the little handle you press to start the bowl a-whirling. Is it standard issue? Pretty plain? Nothing worth looking at twice (or once)?
Don’t worry–it’s not your fault. This isn’t the kind of decoroating most people think of when they’re remodeling the bathroom, but the toilet flusher is a valid piece of hardware you might want to update.
If you’ve got an older home, or just appreciate vintage styles, then this reproduction brass-and-procelain lever might be for you (or your toilet anyway). No, you don’t need a bowl from last century for it to work. The vintage flusher can retrofit into most modern toilet tanks.
$32 from Crown City Hardware
