Natural Rock Shower with Stone Shelves

Whether you’re looking to bring the outdoors in or you just want to build your dream bathroom using less-than-ordinary materials, natural rock is an option for your shower.

We’ve looked at standing pebbles as a shower surround option; now here’s a shower with natural river rock embedded into the walls. They blend nicely with the gray tiles used on the other walls, but lest you forget that natural elements have been used, the little shower shelves are actually made from larger stones.

If you want that close-to-nature feel, it’s hard to beat setting your shampoo bottles on a protruding rock. Just close your eyes and imagine you’re showering in some secluded natural rock grotto.
