Since tubs of easily spreadable butter and margarine became standard, I haven’t messed with cubes of butter or butter trays that often, but if you’re looking to make your diet a little healthier and like the idea of slicing off perfectly measured pats of butter, then you may dig this little gadget.
Simply insert a stick of butter or margarine into KitchenArt’s Pro ButterMate, adjust the slider to your desired measurement (choose anywhere from a sliver to 8 tablespoons), push down on the lever, and out pops your pat.
The butter cutter comes with east and west coast scales, and it can be stored in the door of the refrigerator so you can toss your goobered up butter tray into the trash.
