Outdoor Boot Scraper Keeps Snow and Mud out of the House

Tired of mud and snow getting tracked into the house every time you turn around? I’ve written about an English boot tray before, a spot where people can shuck their damp and dirty footwear when they enter the house, but maybe you’d prefer to keep the mud from ever getting inside to start with.

Here’s another tool from the same store where you can get the boot tray: the outdoor boot scraper.

The scraper comes with a couple of stakes, so you simply stick the wrought iron ends into the ground near your front door or porch. Teach guests and family members to wipe their footwear on the top of the scraper before they enter, and you’ll keep mud and snow out of the house (and off the porch or deck as well).
